Eye-Vitamin for Kids
Wayal’s Kid’s Eye Vitamin includes:
Astaxanthin: clinically proven to reduce eye strain up to 54% over placebo.
Bilberry Extract: Clinically proven to reduce the effects of eye strain from VDT or Video Display Terminal loads. This means Bilberry Extract is specifically effective at combating the effects of blue light damage from our smart phones, tablets and more.
Lutein and Zeaxanthin: Research shows that after six months of lutein and zeaxanthin supplementation, there were significant improvements in visual performance, eyestrain, eye fatigue, visual performance in bright light conditions, and sleep quality. A significant reduction in tension headache frequency was also noted with lutein and zeaxanthin supplementation.
Vitamin C: Protects against antioxidant damage in the eyes. Vitamin C helps the body form and maintain connective tissue, including collagen found in the cornea of the eye.
Rutin: Regulates blood flow to the retina which is an important part of clear and sharp vision.
Furthermore, Rutin is a bioflavonoid that works synergistically with Vitamin C to enhance its antioxidant benefits.
Vitamin D: Helps reduce retinal inflammation and symptoms associated with dry eye.
Reduction in macrophages - Macrophages normally fight off infection in our bodies, but they sometimes don't work as well. Misguided macrophages can actually cause harm to our eyes. Vitamin D supplementation reduced the number of macrophages in the eyes of lab mice and helped malfunctioning macrophages get back on track.
Reduction in amyloid beta - Amyloid beta is a toxin that collects in our bodies and increases our risk for macular degenerations. Vitamin D supplementation caused a reduction in the deposits of amyloid beta in the tested mice.
Protecting our children’s eyes is a really good idea, Wayal’s Kid’s Eye Vitamin is a really great solution. Adults can take them too, they’re delicious!
